Each chapter than addresses the appropriate treatment options with an emphasis of a multi-modality approach. The handbook selectively references only the most important studies that impact the management of cancer patients. The handbook includes a section containing common chemotherapy regimens for solid tumors and describes the dosage, premedication, and number of cycles recommended for a particular cancer.

Every major cancer is addressed concisely. The handbook includes practical information that the oncologist needs at the bedside. The handbook is easily carried in a lab coat on the medical floors. The book is also an excellent reference for residents and adjunct for study for the Board Exams.
