Cancer Is Not The End

Cancer is not a tragedy
Like most people feel
Though it's very serious
You can survive the ordeal

It can be a real nuisance
And I must admit
Since I was diagnosed
Life has changed a bit

One does a lot of thinking
About life and death and such
Cancer can change you
But we don't use it as a crutch

It has changed my body some
But these things will mend
Life is still worth living
Cancer is not the end.
