The authors suggest that these data support improved local recurrence with increased radiation dose, but it is impossible to draw conclusions from them. Furthermore, higher doses have been clearly shown to increase morbidity in the young children undergoing treatment for neuroblastoma. In any case, distant recurrence remains a much greater problem than local recurrence. While the authors make the best of data that have limited usefulness, it would be imprudent to base clinical decisions upon the results of this study.Imprima English
