What are some good resources for cancer survivors?

The Oncolink website has a page of links with useful resources, such as conferences, general information, news, reviews of books and videos specific to survivorship, survivors’ stories, artwork, and poetry and links to other external resources. The American Cancer Society and the Livestrong foundation are very good resources and they provide more links to other resources. Cancercare.org has a great and very helpful booklet (After Treatment Ends: Tools for the Adult Cancer Survivor) available online for cancer survivors. This booklet is full of very practical information.

There are many. Check out the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) at www.livestrong.org. Good resources are The Wellness Community (www.thewellnesscommunity.org) and Gilda’s Club (www.gildasclub.org). If you’re among the younger crowd, check out Planet Cancer (www.planetcancer.org).
