Aida and the Mirror
Aida sees herself as grotesque -- the female problem of low self-esteem. She is surrounded by children and friends who see her as she is. But she is mesmerized by the mirror image. One breast shows.
Aida and the Serpent
Aida confronts cancer in the form of a snake. The serpent has her by the throat and she, him. They are at an impasse, each respecting the strength and beauty of the other. Aida is strong and will fight on. Done post mastectomy.
