Feeling the need to "throw things around," black India ink on watercolor paper, big brushes, and water sprayed on the ink to make it spread seemed to please me. Losing hair is traumatic, and I needed to say something on paper. The violent pastel suited the hot anger. A clear acrylic finish on top made it glow.
Hospital rooms became a way of life. Their life-saving equipment was sometimes intimidating and cold. Watercolor in bold application made the first statement. Black pens, once again, clearly defined areas and allowed me to draw symbols.Imprima English
