To walk in faith, my prayer shall be.
To step beyond where I can see,
Is the mark of trust in Thee,
My Savior and my God.

No blind disregard for care,
No foolhardy risk we share,
To launch a course unaware,
To be bold for Christ our Lord.

To doubt is not to disobey.
It comes as part of our array,
To fear and doubt but try the way,
Of Jesus Christ our Lord.

May this prayer for greater faith
Make each day a thrilling path,
As each step is firmly cast,
On the way of Christ our Lord.
