Objectives:

  1. Identify barriers to consistent recommendation of CRCS;
  2. Explain how specialized therapies are used for patients with cancer;
  3. Discuss new advances in cancer treatment, including surgery, new targeted and immunotherapy, and proton therapy;
  4. Describe the appropriate care options available for the long-term cancer survivor

Who Should Attend: This course is designed to give the primary care physician and other primary health care providers education in the care of the cancer patient. This course will also provide education in cancer screening, cancer risk factors, genomics, new treatment advances, and survivorship care.
