Cancer is just about the most unfunny thing there is. I should know. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March, 1996.
So much of the experience in Cancer World is so grim and scary, that eventually you have to laugh again just to feel alive. And when you laugh you breathe deeply and open to the wonder and fun of life again.
I combined laughter with art, my other most favorite activity and made Cancer Comics. Everything in the comics is true and happened to me.
I hope the comics make you laugh and feel better. And if you have had something funny happen to you that you think belongs in Cancer Comics, write to me with the story and I'll make a comic of it using your name and add it to the book.
